QUARTZ SPHERICAL JOINTS

Robson spherical joints are intended to give flexibility to complicated assemblies of glassware and facilitate erection of such glassware. In vacuum systems, they relieve stress which may otherwise cause leakage at joints. They are also useful under conditions where condical joints may be difficult to separate; for instance, if a viscous or resinous material is being used in the system.
